Is that what I seem to be saying? I have ample experience of starting to write and persisting in the attempt for a long time without getting things to work. But in lucky cases where the text is actually coming together and I hit a comparatively minor block, switching the medium has helped, e.g. exchanging the computer for pen and paper or vice versa.
